The Mission of Long Island Approved Umpires Association is to be the premier baseball umpire association on Long Island. Our umpires are dedicated to the sport of baseball and softball, and are committed to excellence through training and knowledge. We will serve the baseball community with integrity and professionalism. Our members and clients will always be treated with respect and dignity. Our organization will provide rewarding umpiring opportunities and the camaraderie of fellow umpires. We will develop umpires who aspire to work a broad level of competition from Little League through High School level, plus Adult baseball. In doing so, each member will be provided the opportunity to better themselves as an umpire.
